Do you offer an Anti Fat Tax Discount?

Yes, to help offset the cost of making garments for larger bodies use the code 'SizeInclusive' to receive 15% off your order when purchasing six skeins or more. This code can be used for preorders as well as in-stock updates and you can mix and match bases and colourways!

What is the difference between "In-stock" and "Preorder" update?

In-stock updates mean the yarn is ready to ship and will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. Preorder updates are dyed-to-order and have a turnaround time of 6-8 weeks. Both style of updates will launch on certain days at a certain time, with plenty of notice.

What are your shipping rates?
Shipping is done at a flat rate and via An Post, with tracking provided.
Ireland: €6
Europe and United Kingdom: €10
Rest of the World: €14

Do you combine shipping?
If you place multiple orders, please send me an email at ballyhourafibres@gmail.com ASAP and I will happily combine the order and refund any shipping overages.

Do you accept wholesale orders?
I do! If you are a yarn store, please email me at ballyhourafibres@gmail.com.

Do you accept returns?
Please email me at ballyhourafibres@gmail.com straight away if you are unhappy, or have received damaged or the wrong item(s) and I will do my best to resolve these issues. Returned items must be shipped and tracking provided within 7 working days of the customer receiving the package. The items must be returned in its original state in order to receive a refund, yarn must not be caked or unwound. The buyer is responsible for shipping unless the items are damaged or they the received the wrong items. Custom orders and preorder sales are final.

How should I care for my projects?
It is best to hand wash your finished objects with cold to lukewarm water and wool wash, then laying flat to dry on blocking mats or a clean towel. Slight bleeding may occur during the first wash.

How to work with hand dyed yarn?
If you are working on a project that requires more than one skein whether it’s a variegated or tonal colour, it is best to alternate skeins to prevent colour pooling.

Will my yarn look like the photograph?
Please note, that while I have tried my best to accurately portray the yarn, the colours may vary from phone screens and computer monitors.

Is your yarn cruelty free?
Yes, Ballyhoura Fibres uses yarn that is ethically sourced from mulesing-free suppliers.
